Job description

As a DME Technician, you will help patients safely access the respiratory and home medical equipment they need to manage their health at home. You will deliver, set up, and retrieve equipment while educating patients and caregivers, ensuring safety, comfort, and confidence throughout the process. Your role supports high‑quality care, strengthens the patient experience, and contributes to Advent Health Respiratory and Equipment’s mission to empower patients across Florida. Responsibilities: - Coordinate delivery and pickup times with patients to ensure timely, reliable service. - Transport, deliver, and retrieve equipment and supplies while following safety procedures and reporting any concerns. - Educate patients and caregivers on proper use, storage, and maintenance of equipment. - Review and explain all documents in the New Patient Packet, ensuring understanding of rights and responsibilities. - Complete required delivery documentation, including route logs and oxygen dispensing logs. - Clean, maintain, and service equipment according to company standards. - Maintain accurate inventory records for all equipment received, delivered, and retrieved. - Keep warehouse areas organized,...
