Job description

Overview Responsible for reviewing hospital claims and clinical documentation to add, remove and modify charges and validate that coding/charging meets regulatory, third party clinical and reimbursement guidelines. Reviews accounts for all Huntsville Hospital Health System facilities Qualifications: Education required: High School/GED: Education preferred: RHIT, RHIT eligible, CCA, CCA eligible or CPC preferred. Post High School education in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently; Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
