Job Summary: Log Yard Assistant Independent Stave Company is seeking a highly motivated and committed professional to join our procurement team as an Assistant Log Buyer. This position involves purchasing logs, overseeing or performing the loading and unloading operations, managing inventory levels, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, and preparing detailed reports for management. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and maintain a strong work ethic. Some travel is required. Previous experience operating loaders or forklifts is considered an asset. Compensation: $22–$24/hour, depending on experience and skills. Annual bonus potential of $5,000–$10,000 , paid quarterly.
