Position Summary Oversee the department's fiscal management and administrative operations; supervise, recruit, and mentor administrative and clerical staff; provide administrative support and direction for the department. Provide input and recommendations to advise the Chairperson and executive committees on University, School, and departmental policy and planning issues. Administer operating budget and donor funds, and work closely with the Vice Dean of Finance & Administration on special projects for the Music and Performing Arts Professions Department. Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Performing Arts Administration, Organizational Behavior Management, or Higher Education Preferred Education: Master's Degree Business Administration or Higher Education Required Experience: 5+ years relevant administrative experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience in leadership and supervising departmental operations, and administering budgets.
