Physician Lead - Primary Care Clinical Operations

Scope of Responsibilities: The Physician Lead of Primary Care Clinical Operations functions as dyad partner to the Director of Primary Care Operations. The Physician Lead will facilitate the development and implementation of operational programs and initiatives for CenterWell/The Villages under the direction of the Market Chief Medical Officer (CMO). In this role, the Physician Lead will participate in care management, utilization review, quality improvement, and related policy and practice initiatives. This position oversees clinical operations, quality and care management, ensuring that appropriate care levels are being administered as well as develops/oversees utilization management programs. The role also involves leading and mentoring teams, collaborating with medical staff, and staying current on regulations and guidelines. The candidate should possess the following qualities and skills: good bedside manner, an empathetic and cooperative disposition, good clinical skills and fund of knowledge.
