Orion Marine Group has an immediate opening for a Dive Superintendent, in Tampa, FL . This position is accountable for performing dive operations in a marine construction work environment. All dive operations must be planned, performed and completed in a manner that ensures the safety of the Diver. The incumbent will work closely with the General Manager (Orion Diving & Salvage), Diving Supervisor, Dive Tenders and other Divers. If the diving activities are in support of Orion Marine Construction, Inc. project work, the incumbent may also work closely with the Project Superintendent and other Orion Marine personnel. Specific Responsibilities: Works as assigned by the Diving Foreman to ensure the safe and successful completion of all diving operations. Plans and performs such tasks topside and underwater as directed by the Diving Foreman. Conducts regular training with Divers to facilitate safety, knowledge of dive operations, and high performance. Ensures all diver-worn equipment is properly maintained, complete and ready to use. As required, assist in the maintenance and repair of all diving equipment.
