Assistant Track Superintendent

Job description

Duties/Responsibilities: - Direct & provide weekly task assignments to Track Supervisor and Track Maintenance Team Members. - Oversee a variety of Facilities Maintenance, repair or service duties to ensure continuous operation of the buildings for Racing on the Backside of the property. - Ensure the use of appropriate materials and supplies while observing all safety regulations in the performance of duties on the property. - Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. - Oversees a variety of maintenance duties, including repair or service duties. - Performs general maintenance projects on the interior and exterior of the facilities. - Supervises or operates tractor, water truck, and harrow equipment to maintain track surface. - Conducts all duties of the maintenance program to ensure continuous operations in all buildings and mechanical facilities. - Inspect all assigned equipment making note of weak or defective parts and making recommendations for correction. - Treat others with courtesy and respect. - Adjust and is flexible to meet changing work needs and demands. - Works cooperatively with o...
