Posting expires: April 7, 2026 Salary range: $68,156 - $90,988: General Description and Classification Standards: Manages the day-to-day operation of a wastewater treatment plant in effort to serve the citizens. This position manages a large group of employees, typically with intermediate supervisors, or a smaller group of specialized professional employees. Performs supervisory assignments associated with operating the wastewater treatment plant and to ensure a continuous, wastewater treatment meeting federal/state regulations for the citizens of Atlanta. Supervises; wastewater analysis and treatment; mixing chemicals; laboratory testing; operating various pumps and valves; repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment; maintaining records, instructing, and disciplining assigned staff. Supervision Received: This position may require you to work independently and report to the Water Reclamation Center Manager when necessary approvals or other direction is required.
