Munitions Mechanic Company: Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is actively seeking skilled Munition Mechanics to join our team in St. Charles, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and integrating advanced munitions systems, including Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) and Small Diameter Bombs (SDB). Your hands-on work will involve critical tasks such as drilling, bonding, soldering, crimping, and installing fasteners and cannon plugs, contributing to the development of cutting-edge guidance systems. Position Responsibilities: Assembly and Integration: - Assemble, install, bond, repair, and rework mechanical and electrical components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. - Conduct thorough inspections of components and assemblies to verify proper fit and function before integration into larger systems. Wiring and Soldering: - Perform wire crimping, soldering, and pin insertion/removal on cannon plugs, ensuring secure and reliable connections. - Execute installation and removal with precision, maintaining the integrity of the assembly.
