Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Patient Access Representative to join our team! Position Summary: This position is responsible for creating a first impression of Methodist Hospital to our patients, visitors and customers by providing a warm welcome and ensuring interactions are professional and courteous. This position must utilize effective interpersonal skills when gathering demographic information for complete and accurate registration including insurance verifications for outpatient services, emergency center arrivals and admissions. This position must use expertise in insurance selection to accurately input the information provided by the patient/guarantor and validate by using payer eligibility resources to ensure the accuracy of claim submission. This position must be cross trained to support the overall registration process in the Emergency Center, General Admitting and Surgery Admitting.
