In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in steelmaking coal and manganese, as well as copper exploration projects underway in North West Queensland and Western Australia. Job Description: As a Mining Engineer, you will play a key role within the Capcoal Technical Services team, contributing across mine planning, design and operational execution. Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, this role suits someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable supporting multiple operational areas. You will contribute to front‑end daily planning and short‑term mine planning horizons (up to approximately three months), while also supporting longer‑term thinking as the site works toward growth and production uplift targets.
