Advanced Practice Provider, Obstetrics/Gynecology General Outreach - Pearland Clinic - ( 2601230 ) Description Minimum Qualifications: Master’s in Nursing, FNP, WHNP or Master’s in Physician Assistant studies and licensed in the State of Texas with Board Certification. Job Summary: Performs responsible clinical care in collaboration with the unit physician and under approved protocols, manages the medical aspects of care in the observation, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, evaluation, rehabilitation, care and counsel, and health teachings of persons who are ill, injured or infirm or experiencing changes in normal health processes; and in the promotion and maintenance of health of prevention of illness in a clinical setting. Essential Job Functions: Provide primary health care to the patient and family throughout the course of care. Use the processes of assessment, diagnosis, management, and evaluation to provide care that integrates the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient and family.
