Position Summary: Oversee the growth and strategy of The Salvation Army pertaining to music lessons within the Southern California Division. Implementing and monitoring programs for the purpose of musical growth and evangelical outreach. Focus on building instrument lessons, local ensembles, and music literacy around the division. Essential Functions: - Create educational resources for local music leaders - Work with the Divisional Music Director to develop and implement division-wide music curriculum - Maintain music department social media sites, create content, and make regular posts - Assist with coordinating special ensembles for public events when needed and requested by leadership - Keep an up-to-date appraisal of the music programs at each corps across the division - Work with Multimedia department to create online training and video resources for local music prog...
