Overview Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Peer Specialist / Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) assists individuals in recovery with regaining independence in their communities and sustaining their own recovery and improving their overall health. The Peer Specialist will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health’s Vic Manor Program. Schedule Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position is eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $1,500 ! Pay : $18.00 - $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities: - A Peer Specialist may have the following responsibilities: - Collaborate with individuals to develop a person centered recovery plan. - Link patients to social and other support services in the community. - Teach individuals and family members coping skills. - Support the application process for benefits. - Provide non-clinical crisis support after periods of hospitalization or incarceration. - Accompany individuals to court appearances and m...
