A Lead Facilities Technician is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, coordinating repair activities, and ensuring facility systems remain safe, efficient, and fully operational. This role includes hands-on troubleshooting and repair, preventive maintenance scheduling, and providing technical guidance to maintenance staff. The Lead Facilities Technician acts as the primary point of contact for building maintenance needs and plays a key role in workflow management, safety compliance, and asset reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and delegate maintenance tasks to technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality completion. - Perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing systems. - Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life. - Monitor building systems, including fire safety, lighting, power distribution, HVAC controls, and access systems. - Maintain accurate service logs, work orders, and asset records through CMMS or maintenance software. - Train and mentor maintenance team members to improve skillsets and operational efficiency. - Coordinate a...
