District Technician

Job description

The District Technician installs, maintains and adjusts Company and customer equipment; provides service to domestic and commercial gas customers; and related gas facilities. This position performs labor and skilled natural gas-related mechanical work independently or as a member of a crew, in accordance with Company construction, customer service, safety and emergency procedures, to install and maintain natural gas pipe facilities and associated equipment. Required to respond to emergencies and implement Incident Command System (ICS). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position must have mechanical and physical aptitude, as required, to perform assigned duties and the ability to perform all activities associated with position responsibilities and meet all special requirements. This position must also have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to prioritize workload, multi-task, communicate effectively with internal and external customers, in addition to outside agencies and must have basic computer skills.
