What’s the role? The Infrastructure Operations Specialist (2-year max term contract) plays a key role in maintaining the stability and reliability of Westpac’s Data Centre operations through diagnostics, hardware support, incident resolution and strong adherence to security, safety and compliance standards, while continuously improving operational efficiency. This is a 2-year max term role. - Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting and basic configuration support to resolve infrastructure issues efficiently - Install, replace and remove devices and components, including storage media sanitisation and destruction - Manage and prioritise trouble tickets to maintain high system reliability and service availability - Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors while following data centre, logistics, security and safety processes - Support continuous improvement by adhering to ITIL practices, identifying process gaps and contributing to operational efficiency initiatives What do I need?: - Entry level knowledge of Windows Operating Systems - Basic knowledge of data centres, data cabling and cable management preferred (but not essential) - Excellent customer service, communicat...
