Job description

Job Details: The primary task is to place birds onto shackles throughout the shift. Work environment temperature varies based on the temperature outside. The average temperature is 90 degrees or above. Will rotate to various positions within the department, perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor, and work overtime if needed. Duties: Responsible for operating the kill machine. Dusty work environment. Noisy work environment. Ability to hang 35 birds per minute (3-5 lbs. Birds) Willing to work the dump station Ability to catch stray birds: Ability to use both hands for lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 6 lbs. Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs. occasionally.
