First Merchants Bank is seeking a Commercial Fulfillment Trainee to join our team! This position will provide an analytical review of due diligence and creation of loan closing documents ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements using guided instruction to resolve issues for non-real estate secured loans, including but not limited to Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Loans. Provide quality customer service through accurate and efficient processing from approval through closing. Position ensures completion of commercial fulfillment based on the loan structure, conditions, and collateral. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Complete accurate, unbiased due diligence review within required timelines and according to standards; Customer Identification Program (CIP), entity validation, facility structure, collateral security. - Validate authorized approval, analyze deal details outlined in approval to file support. - Analyze and interpret entity documents, including but not limited to, Certificate of Existence, Assumed Name Searches, Trust Agreements, and other legal documents as necessary to determine and validate legally binding authorities for all parties executing legal doc...
