About the role This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Greenkeeper to join our team based on site at Brendale. The role oversees the overall care of the numerous sports fields that cater for a number of different sports including cricket, soccer and rugby - they love to have their sports fields looking pristine all year round as playing sport is an important part of supporting student life. The role will also provide the opportunity to train and develop an Apprentice Greenkeeper. Responsibilities: - Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and useability of lawn, turf and open space surfaces. - Monitor lawn and turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices. - Execution and implementation of seasonal turf renovation and recovery program’ - Implement sustainable management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques. - Operate and maintain specialised equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. - Collaborate with other teams to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise task...
