Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

Job description

Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician Performs equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs in green blending, roasting, packaging, distribution warehouse, and small-scale projects. Responsibilities: - Note that this is a 1st shift position, working hours will be from 6:00am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri. - Support manufacturing operations by understanding the functionality and operation of all machinery. - Monitor equipment and processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality. - Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on all roasting and packaging equipment. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues on production equipment. - Maintain equipment in safe, efficient operating condition, targeting 90% or higher machine uptime. - Complete scheduled maintenance tasks and assigned work orders. - Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects. - Aid the Engineering Technician in new equipment installations and modifications. - Respond to unplanned equipment downtime to minimize production disruptions. - Communicate effectively with the Engineering Supervisor, Operations leadership, and Production team. - Adhere to and uphold Peet's...
