Salary/Position Classification: - $16 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) - 3 hours per week - 100% Remote Work Availability: No - Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position: This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. This undergraduate research assistant position will assist in the construction of an annotated bibliography and in data collection for an emerging research project looking at online communities popular among college students. The undergraduate RA would assist with summarizing and collecting relevant scholarly literature; over the course of the semester, the undergraduate RA will likely also assist with collecting publicly available social media data, and with drafting a pilot interview protocol to be used at a later date. The position length is till mid-June. The position would have the possibility of being renewed, depending on securing further funding.
