The Senior Operations Manager is part of the leadership team at Peet’s Alameda roasting plant in 24 hours manufacturing environment. This critical role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall operations while improving safety performance, producing to meet strict product quality guidelines, improving service to our customers, improving cost performance while developing both people as well as process capabilities at the plant. This is a “hands on” role. Salary: $149,000 - $170,000 Location: Alameda, CA – Onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage a team of Assistant Manager(s), supervisors within the department to ensure production meets or exceeds Peet’s Safety, Quality, Food Safety & Efficiency standards. - Oversees the production processes & personnel in green coffee, roasting, packaging, shipping & receiving, to fulfil demand while optimizing efficiencies throughout the operation. - Manage and motivate employees to achieve results through servant leadership and effective coaching.
