The VDH is made up of a statewide Central Office in Richmond and 33 local health districts. The Chesterfield Health District provides public health services to the residents of Chesterfield County, Powhatan County, and the City of Colonial Heights. This position is based in Chesterfield. This position will require some travel to the other clinics within the district. The Healthcare Technician Senior duties consist of the following routine clinical tasks: collection and documentation of patient vital signs, assist nursing staff with clinic flow, assist clinicians with specimen collection, collection of laboratory specimens, performing adult venipuncture, pediatric venipuncture and adult and pediatric capillary sticks, and performing clinical laboratory tests to include hemog...
