Tasks VMware / Azure Local Solution Architect Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands -Hybrid (3-4 days/week onsite) 12months+ Contract with possible extension – Role Description The VMware/Azure Local Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing and guiding the migration of on‑premises VMware virtualization solutions. This role ensures that VMware platforms are architected and delivered in alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, compliance requirements and overall business objectives. The primary focus of this position is to support and advise on the migration from VMware to Azure Local , including the assessment of existing environments, modernization of workloads and execution of transition activities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and document end‑to‑end solutions leveraging VMware virtualization technologies and Microsoft Azure Local services. - With the support of the Enterpriser Architect align technical assessments, baselining activities and readiness analyses to support infrastructure decision‑making. - Provide expert guidance on workload migration, with specific emphasis on transitioning VMware workloads to Azure Local. - Collaborat...
