“This posting is part of our ongoing talent pipeline and is not tied to an active opening; qualified candidates will be contacted when the role officially becomes available.” SUMMARY: Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on M240D machine guns and other associated equipment, mounts, squibs, CAD/PAD, and shop support items in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and the PWS. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: - Performs cleaning and corrosion treatment on gun system components. - Removes and replaces aircraft installed weapons systems components and equipment. - Removes and installs guns. - Perform flightline functions including preflight and postflight weapons requirements to include guard duties as directed. - Document all inspection and maintenance actions in aircraft forms and IMDS. - Follows established armory and maintenance room security procedures. - Complies with flightline munitions accountability requirements IAW AFI 21-201. - Performs Red X and IPI inspections. - Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times. - Applies technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such...
