Description: Wicehtowak Frontec Services is seeking a 1st Cook to join our team in Jansen, SK. The 1st Cook will be responsible for ensuring that meals are prepared and served in accordance with company standards. The 1st Cook provides coverage for the Chef when he/she is out on rotation. Where We Work and Live: The Jansen Discovery Lodge is a workforce housing facility in support of the BHP Jansen potash mine. The camp is located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon, SK. Our positions work on a 14 day on, 7 days off rotation. Accommodations and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company. Responsibilities: Assist the Chef in managing food services in compliance with Food Service Management Guides and Provincial and Federal Regulations Assist the Chef in the preparation of all foods to be served in accordance with meal plans and schedules Assist the Chef in the inventory control to maintain appropriate level of inventory at all times Conduct routine audits and inspections of kitchen operations, dining room, bag up room, equipment, and food handling practices to ensure regulatory compliance Provide day or night shift supervision dependent on rotational schedule, ensurin...
