Job Description Summary As an Advanced Lead Engineer – Commercial Field Service, you will get the unique opportunity to serve as the primary on-site representative for our customer and a single point of contact for key internal stakeholders before, during, and after aircraft entry into service. Job Description: Key Roles & Responsibilities: More specifically, you will: - Provide program leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned jet engine product lines - Monitor reliability and on wing performance (e.g. significant events, engine removals, delays and cancellation). Influence airline stakeholders to implement important reliability improvements or deliver on special programs or projects (water/foam wash, derate optimization, fleet programs, etc.). - Influence long-term maintenance planning to ensure aircraft engine fleet stability - Interpret OEM & technical manuals where necessary - Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training need opportunities - Leverage lean principles to assist the customer in finding proactive reliability enhancements to drive a reduced cost of ownership...
