Position: Server Brand: Denny’s: Reports To: Restaurant Manager/General Manager/Manager on Duty Job Overview: The Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and efficient table service to guests in a full-service restaurant environment. This role delivers a positive guest experience by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest needs are met throughout the dining experience in accordance with Denny’s brand standards. Key Responsibilities: Guest Service & Hospitality: - Greet guests promptly and courteously. - Present menus, explain menu items, and answer guest questions. - Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. - Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. - Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues promptly. - Thank guests and invite them to return. Order Accuracy & Service Execution: - Ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately. - Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure proper timing and order flow. - Monitor table needs, including refills, condiments, and additional requests. - Process guest payments accurately and securely.
