Department Overview The nurse in this position will provide comprehensive care to pediatric hematology and oncology patients in an ambulatory and infusion setting. The Registered Nurse provides complex care coordination, extensive phone triage, and clinic management including the shared facilitation of clinical research trials, infusion and BMT. Function/Duties of Position: Patient Population: The nurse in this position will provide comprehensive care to Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT patients in an ambulatory setting, including administration of chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood products, and supportive care. The RN also will provide infusion therapy for specialty service patients such as gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, immunology, genetics, and more. - Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Patients - Pediatric Infusion Patients Required Qualifications: Department Specific Requirements: - Previous experience with Epic EMR, including Epic Beacon application. - APHON chemotherapy/biotherapy administration certification- or obtained within 6 months of start - PALS certification - BLS certification - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience (within the last 3 years) experience in...
