General: The Home Medical Eq uipmen t Technician m u st be knowledgeable of all equipment an d supplies provided by Home Medica l and uphold it's standard for excellence. R esponsible for competent, efficient, and friendly deli very and setup of equipment and supplies to customer s in their home. Respon si ble for equipment checks , education to clients and their families / caregivers, service, cleaning, documentation and safeguar din g company assets while in their care. Must be able to assist with admini stra ti ve aspects as well to includ e answering phones, scheduling and appropriate do cumentation. Responsible To: Home Medical Equipment Manager Qualifications Phy s ical: - ln an average 8 hour day the employee lifts / carries up to 65 po u nds frequent l y . - 1n an average 8 hour da y the employee stands / walks 3 - In an average 8 hour day the employee sits 1 h (T hese hours include up to 1 hours of data entry / phone work.) - 1n an average 8 hour da y the employee drives 4 hour . - The employee lifts/carries up to 170 maximum. - M u s t be clean & neat in personal E duc ation: - High schoo l diploma or E.D. equivalent preferred.
