Job Description and Responsibilities: Join InterPro Pipe & Steel team in Regina as a Journeyman Welder, where your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to producing high-quality steel products. Receive instructions, prints and work orders for job Analyze drawings and sketches, plans details of working procedure and tools and material requirements Select materials in accordance with suitability for job Lay out work, prepare sketches and determine stock sizes Set up, assemble and tack weld parts, constructing special fixtures Perform gas and electric welding in all positions (down-hand vertical, overhead, etc.) Make any type and size weld, such as “V” lap, butt, etc. preheating parts Build up worn or defective surfaces Clean, grind and flame anneal parts and welded joints Use burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut materials to size and shape Perform brazing as required: Perform thermi-welding as directed: Exercise all safety pre...
