Job Description: The Driller/Grinder is responsible for operating a light industrial drill press and bench top belt grinder. Aluminum castings are drilled using a drill jig with flood coolant passing through and castings with sharp edges or residual gating are smoothed on the grinder. All necessary personal protective equipment is supplied such as gloves, an apron, ear protection, and safety glasses. Work stations are set up in a specified way for ease of use and accuracy of work.
