Position: Forklift Operator Shift type: Afternoon shift. Basis: Casual: Location: Bundamba, QLD. Company: Northline: The Role: We are looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our Afternoon shift team at our Depot in Bundamba! Working under general direction, the Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles and containers with freight to legal capacity and blending freight to achieve maximum payloads. Where required, the Forklift Operator will support other warehouse and logistics functions to ensure optimal operation of the broader Northline business. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure pre-start check is undertaken before use of forklift and other equipment certifying the equipment is in good working order. - Operate forklift and other machinery safely and in accordance with policies and procedures. - Ensure all inbound and/or outbound freight is: - Accurately scanned, matched, sorted and placed safely into correct locations. - ‘Checked, Weighed and Cubed’ (CWC) to reduce revenue leakage. - Accounted for with accompanying paperwork in good order. - Unloaded and/or loaded safely with zero damage within set time limits. - Blended eff...
