Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking dynamic and creative candidates to join our US West Geotechnical Team as an Intermediate Level Civil or Geotechnical Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out geotechnical engineering activities across the full mining life cycle (conceptual to closure) for mining operations and facilities (i.e., tailings storage facilities, waste rock management structures, etc.). Provide geotechnical advice, analyses, designs, and plans; ensuring that the best data is utilized in all geotechnical analyses. Provide core geotechnical design skills; numerical modelling capability; geotechnical monitoring and data analysis capability; and dam safety management and stewardship. The Intermediate Level Civil or Geotechnical Engineer will join a team of about 30 geotechnical engineers across our western regional offices.
