Description Are you a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment? Raleigh Radiology is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This role involves performing mammographic imaging while ensuring the highest quality of patient care. *Work Hours: 7:30 am- 1:30 pm (every other Saturday)* What You’ll Do: - Perform ordered mammography diagnostic imaging procedures safely, efficiently, and professionally. - Assess patients’ physical and emotional needs, prioritize care, and provide clear instructions before and after procedures. - Administer contrast and assist with IV sedation cases. - Monitor patients during procedures and respond quickly to any urgent or emergencies. - Maintain accurate documentation, patient histories, and procedure notes. - Ensure imaging equipment is well-maintained, clean, and ready for use. - Uphold safety and infection control protocols at all times. - Support physicians and fellow team members, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment. - Educate patients on procedures and aftercare, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable.
