Job description

Reports To : Operations Supervisor The Sulfuric Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient processing of chemical products, namely Spent Acid Regeneration process, Sulfur Contact plant, Oleum, and Sodium Bisulfite. The Operator must frequently adjust processes to operate at optimum levels using objective information. The position also requires responding effectively in emergency situations, mechanical knowledge, mathematical reasoning skills, instrument knowledge, computer skills, and an understanding of many different tools and devices used on the job. Essential Skills/Responsibilies: - Safely operate the processes listed above in a manner that will prevent accidents and environmental upsets and in a manner that will promote a high finished product quality that meets customer demands.
