Department: PMG Parrish Medical Group Clinic: Parrish Radiation Oncology Schedule/Status: 8:00am-4:30pm; Full Time: Standard Hours/Week: 40: General Description: The Radiation Therapist reports to the Lead Radiation Therapist. The Radiation Therapist, under direct supervision of the radiation oncologist, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated treatment area and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. The Radiation Therapist adheres to the Parrish Medical Center / Parrish Radiation Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards as well as ASRT standards for this position. The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare.
