About this role: The Maintenance Manager is a key role in the organisation and will be responsible for leading and managing the equipment maintenance function & workshop operations and its employees. You will need to have strong leadership skills, be an effective communicator and ensure the efficient and effective day to day operations of the workshop. The role is also responsible to ensure that all related software systems are properly used and populated to ensure accurate reporting. What will your day look like: Workshop Management: - Responsible for creating a positive environment that inspires employees and contractors to work safely, efficiently and effectively to meet the business needs. - Oversee the workshop operations daily / weekly ensuring all vehicles, plant and equipment are mechanically sound, safe, and compliant. - Management of all workshop costs (parts / supply / labour) and ensure all costs are minimalised and kept within budget. - Manage workshop employees & contractors to ensure hours are monitored whilst maintaining the needs of the business. - Liaising with superintendents, project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on the av...
