The Psychology Department at Seton Hall University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach an in-person course in Psychopharmacology starting January 2026. This 3000-level (i.e., upper division) course is required of students in our BS in Cognitive Neuroscience, and a potential elective for students in the Psychology major. Course Description and select learning objectives from the Catalogue: “A comprehensive examination of the mechanisms by which drugs interact with the brain and behavior, with emphasis on the role of neurotransmitter systems. In the Psychology Department, all new adjunct faculty are paired with full-time faculty mentors to help the individual develop their teaching through conversation and course observation. Additionally, all adjunct faculty at Seton Hall enjoy free access to on-campus fitness facilities. Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, 14 miles from New York City.
