Part-time Night Shift 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m. Two 12 hour shifts per week Every third weekend: Rotating holidays (three per year): Night and weekend differential: 2 EAST is an inpatient acute care medical and surgical unit consisting of 30 private and semiprivate rooms. This unit serves patients with all acute care needs including but not limited to Cardiac, GI, Infectious disease, Fractures, Wound Care, Respiratory, and limited behavioral health. We have a combination of medical and surgical patients. Staff must complete telemetry training and maintain competency in reading ECG and administering cardiac drips. General Summary: Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
