Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7) Department/Organization: 206102 - Alumni and Corporate Relations Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; routine early mornings, evenings, & Saturdays required. Job Summary: The Event Planner conceptualizes event theme, itinerary, etc. Develops and manages event budgets. Oversees the implementation, execution, and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Creates invitations. Selects sites. Creates seating arrangements. Negotiates with florist, caterers, event space staff, print shops, etc. Manages on-site contract staff, students, and etc. Additional Department Summary: The Event Planner has full responsibility for planning and implementing all events occurring both on and off campus for the benefit of the College. This position is demanding and is vital to the overall image of the college to VIP guests, donors, alumni, potential and enrolled students, parents, and guest lecturers.
