Project Specialist (E2816D) - 260040 : KNW-B30 Description: Job Summary The overall purpose of this position is to act as the staff liaison for assigned volunteer committees. In this capacity, the incumbent defines the requirements and resources needed to successfully execute the goals of Technical Activities (TA) committees. The incumbent must exhibit an expertise in understanding IEEE policies, Technical Activities Board (TAB) and IEEE nominations and appointment policies, procedures and operations in order to be effective in the position. The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for defining the yearly goals of the committees, analyzing areas for improvement within the committees, developing presentations for committee chairs, developing orientation programs for new members, communicating on a regular basis with committee members, developing meeting agendas and minutes in support of the committees, developing and improving reports of the committees, and acting as a subject matter expert between the committees and the IEEE.
