Job: Associate Director of Advising, Beyond Barnard Reporting to the Director, Advising and Programs, the Associate Director serves as a front-line career advisor for students and alumnae, building expertise in job documents, interview best practices, career exploration, and other topics. In collaboration with the Associate Director of Programs, the Associate Director of Advising provides direct supervision for Beyond Barnard’s Peer Career Advising program. Under the guidance of the Director, the Associate Director provides oversight of all advising efforts, including mentorship initiatives that connect alumnae to students (and to each other). The Associate Director of Advising is Beyond Barnard’s leader on general career best practices, and the team’s go-to resource for insights about current trends related to career advising. In addition, the individual in this role will develop and present programs across career advising and educational topics.
