The role is critical to ensure stability, availability, and performance of business critical systems. Solid experience working with the IBM z/OS platform in a production environment Strong understanding of mainframe infrastructure, including CPU, memory, and I/O Experience with mainframe storage solutions (for example DASD, disk, and volume management) Knowledge of SMS (Storage Management Subsystem) and its components Experience in capacity planning and performance analysis Understanding of backup, recovery, an...
