Distribution Design Engineer

About the role We are seeking an experienced Distribution Design Engineer to join our Design team in Glen Waverley, working in a hybrid arrangement with a mix of office and WFH. This role has a strong focus on overhead distribution design and will see you delivering detailed designs across LV, HV and up to 66kV projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Surveyors and fellow Design Engineers, supporting major Victorian networks including United Energy, AusNet and Jemena. Key Responsibilities include: - Design overhead distribution projects including LV, HV and 66kV network assets - Interpret overhead line surveys and translate them into accurate design drawings - Produce detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD in line with VESI and client standards - Manage design delivery from concept through to final issue, including cost, schedule and quality considerations - Liaise with internal stakeholders, clients and network authorities to manage design requirements and expectations - Identify, communicate and mitigate design and constructability risks - Support governance, design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Culture & Benefits: - Be rec...
