This application is for San Ysidro Health’s Internal Medicine Residency Program Year 2026. This position is posted for applicants that have already been accepted into our program. Mission Statement: San Ysidro Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) whose mission is to provide high quality health care to the underserved population of San Diego County. With predominantly low income patient populations, and clinic sites in Medically Underserved Areas (MUA), the clinic has continued to provide care for the poor, uninsured, immigrants, refugees, elderly, and those living with HIV/AIDS for over 50 years. As such, it is committed to having well educated primary care and subspecialty health care physicians to provide this care. As such, San Ysidro Health's internal medicine residency program therefore embodies the Clinic's mission to provide high quality care to its underserved population, by providing medical education in this unique community setting to the next generation ready to take on this mission and goal.
