Maintenance Technician IV

Job description

The Technician IV is the highest-level field technician on the engineering and maintenance and team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems throughout the facility. The Tech IV serves as a technical resource for less experienced team members and works closely with engineers and operations leadership to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Key Responsibilities: - Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical faults across production equipment, power distribution systems, motor controls, and automated systems - Perform planned and corrective maintenance on high and low voltage electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and instrumentation - Read, interpret, and redline electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and ladder logic programs - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions - Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and internal safety standards, including LOTO procedures and arc flash requirements - Lead and participate in equipment installations, startups, and com...
