Description This position is contingent upon successful contract award. Providecritical support in the maintenance and synchronization of official military lexicons and publications. Primary focus is ensuring language used in strategic documents is consistent with the DoD Dictionary of Military and Associated Terms and all publication data is accurate across multiple platforms, providing the “connective tissue” of doctrinal documents. Travel may be required. Job Roles & Responsibilities: - Terminology Management: Familiarity with the terms found in the DoD Dictionary and the formal administrative process for updating or changing approved terminology. Monitor and apply changes to the DoD Dictionary; facilitate process for incorporating newly approved terms and definitions into active publications. - Publication Support: Demonstrate working understanding of the doctrine development, and publication processes within a military or government framework.
