POSITION PURPOSE: Authorize, r eg ulat e a n d control airline flights according to government re gulation s and Company policies to expedite and e nsure th e safety of each flight . ESSENTIAL DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Prepare dispatch releases for Domestic, Flag and Supplemental operations - Analyze and evaluate meteo rologi cal information to determine potential hazards to safety of flight - Monitor weather conditions, aircraft posit ion repor ts, and aeronautical navigation charts to evaluate flight progress - Record departure and arrival times of flights and keep flight information systems up dated - Provide weather information to flight crews and continuously monitor s for changes.
